The hotel rooms were not as expected, appearing dated and lacking charm, leading us to cut our stay short but offering a nearby smoking area to some discomfort. The service was satisfactory with attentive housekeeping and a welcome drink provided. The location, though scenic with a view of the 'noh stage,' was inconveniently far from the city and lacked dining options, requiring renovations and offering no evening activities. The dining experience was a mix of traditional flavors, not to my preference, but potentially enjoyable for others. The facilities seemed outdated and generally below Japanese standards, with some proximity to restrooms affecting the overall ambiance.
